Encyclopedia of Spam

In the Reynolds vs Falk SLAPP suit of 2006, Reynolds made the claim that Falk's anti-spam website was targeted at Reynolds and North Dakota.

To debunk this argument, Falk printed the contents of his web site — minus the computer-generated reports — and had it bound. Of the nearly 1300 printed pages, only eleven of them had anything to do with Reynolds/Netzilla.

(For the record, if the computer-generated records had been included, the Encyclopedia would have come to roughly 13,000 pages.)

A number of people have inquired about the possibility of having a copy of the Encyclopedia for their own bookshelves. We have decided to make this available for free to anybody who donates $500 or more to the Spamfighter's Legal Defense Fund.

"[Spammers] have come to court not because their freedom of speech is threatened but because their profits are; to dress up their complaints in First Amendment garb demeans the principles for which the First Amendment stands."
- U.S. Federal Judge Stanley Sporkin
